PRICE INCLUDES

Two days of programming which includes: all movement, wellness, hypnosis, ancestral and spiritual workshops, catered breakfasts and lunches, and participant gift bags. 

CANCELLATION

Please note for the Men’s Wellness Weekend ALL BOOKINGS ARE FINAL AND NOT SUBJECT TO REFUND. NO EXCEPTIONS.

PLEASE CAREFULLY REVIEW THE FOLLOWING:

1. AFTERPAY is available as a method of payment for those who qualify.

2. NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS will be afforded to attendees for failure to attend or complete the Wellness Weekend, or for arriving late or leaving before the scheduled conclusion of the Wellness Weekend.

NOTE*: Weeksville Heritage Center reserves the right to remove any individual(s) from the premises if said individual(s) is (are) deemed by the security officer in charge to pose a security threat to guests of the event, visitors, students, staff, and/or Weeksville Heritage Center property. Any participants who are removed by Weeksvile Heritage Center during the Men’s Wellness Weekend will not be entitled to a refund.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

READINGS BY SIMONE RECOMMENDS for those flying into New York to purchase your own travel insurance FIFTEEN (15) days prior to departure. We also encourage you to purchase trip cancellation insurance for maximum coverage and peace of mind.

Though we have never experienced any issues before, travel insurance can also be purchased to cover medical expenses or emergencies during your trip. Readings By Simone WILL NOT BE held liable for medical expenses of attendees or any injury sustained by attendees prior to, and or for the duration of or after the Wellness Weekend.

READINGS BY SIMONE WILL NOT be held liable for any personal expenses, such as airline fees due to changes in itineraries or Men’s Wellness Weekend cancellations.

THIS IS A LEGAL DOCUMENT; BY SIGNING THIS DOCUMENT (hereinafter referred to as the “Agreement”), I FORFEIT ANY LEGAL RIGHT TO SUE FOR ANY CLAIMS RESULTING FROM MY PARTICIPATION IN THE 2025 MEN’S WELLNESS WEEKEND, (hereinafter referred to as the “Wellness Weekend”).

I acknowledge that by my participating in the Wellness Weekend and in consideration for me being allowed to participate in the Wellness Weekend, I agree to be bound by each of the following provisions of this Agreement.

1.         Assumption of Risks:- I want to participate in the Wellness Weekend and I fully understand and accept all of the risks associated with my participation in the Wellness Weekend, but not limited to possible contact with water, adverse reaction to food or drink or physical exhaustion and other hazards and injuries which may occur. I fully comprehend and accept all of the risks associated with my participation in the Wellness Weekend. I understand and agree that it is my responsibility to assess the risks presented and that I am the ultimate decision maker as to whether I can participate in the Wellness Weekend. In addition, I authorize Readings By Simone, Simone Arthur/ Sacred Conversations and/or her Agents (hereinafter referred to as “Readings By Simone”) to seek on my behalf all reasonable medical and/or mental health care that may be necessary as a result of any injury I sustain while participating in the Wellness Weekend if I am reasonably unable to authorize such care myself and this will be at my expense.

2.         Release and Waiver:- I have read the previous paragraph and understand the risks involved and hereby assert that I WILLINGLY/VOLUNTARILY ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY and sole liability for any risks of loss, or personal injury, including death, that may be sustained by me, as my result of participating in the Wellness Weekend whether caused by negligence, negligent misrepresentation, breach of contract, breach of statutory duty, accident or other conduct on the part of Readings By Simone. I do hereby release, waive and discharge Readings By Simone and her successors from liability from any and all claims, resulting in personal injury, accidents, or illnesses (including death), and property loss arising from my participation in the Wellness Weekend. I expressly agree that the foregoing waiver and assumption of risks is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the Laws of New York and that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect. The Laws of New York shall govern this Agreement. I accept the jurisdiction of the court of New York for any claims which may arise from this Agreement.

3.         INDEMNITY: - I agree to INDEMNIFY and hold harmless Readings By Simone from any and all claims, actions, suits procedures, costs, expenses and liabilities, including but not limited to, personal loss, injury (whether or not resulting in death), damage destruction or loss belonging to me in my possession as well as attorney’s fees brought as a result of my participation in the Wellness Weekend and to reimburse Readings By Simone for any such expenses that may occur as a result of my participation in the Wellness Weekend whether caused by NEGLIGENCE, NEGLIGENT MISREPRESENTATION, BREACH OF CONTRACT, ACCIDENT or other conduct on the part of READINGS BY SIMONE.

4.         DELAYS: - I agree that any delays in flight on the part of the airlines, change in schedules to travel to and from New Yoork will not be the responsibility of Readings By Simone, neither will READINGS BY SIMONE be liable for any damages or expenses, or inconveniences caused by late departures or changes of schedule, strikes or to their conditions, nor will be responsible for the lost or damage to my baggage or any of my personal belongings.

5.         FORCE MAJEURE: READINGS BY SIMONE would neither be liable nor responsible for nonperformance, nor deemed to have defaulted under or breached this Agreement, for any failure or delay in fulfilling or performing any of its obligations under this Agreement if its nonperformance was due to a Force Majeure Event as defined in paragraph 5 (i) of this Agreement.

i.     A Force Majeure Event shall mean any act of God; hurricane; earthquake; flood; tornado; or other casualty; drought; fire; war; riot; civil strife/unrest; acts of terrorism; governmental rule; labor stoppages; lockout; epidemics; pandemic; outbreaks; or any other events or circumstances not within the reasonable control of READINGS BY SIMONE, whether similar or dissimilar to any of the foregoing.

6.         I HEREBY CERTIFY THE FOLLOWING: -

❖   that I am in good health and suffer from no minor or serious physical or mental illness, respiratory or heart conditions or other condition that would make me especially susceptible to injury or disability while performing activities on the Wellness Weekend;

❖   that I will truthfully disclose my medical conditions and allergies;

❖   that I will comply with all safety rules of the Wellness Weekend;

❖   that I will not damage or destroy any instruments or equipment given to me during the Wellness Weekend and I agree to pay to repair or replace any damaged instruments or equipment caused by me that are in my possession; and

❖   that I am not under the influence of any drug or medication that could impair

my ability to safely participate in the activities of the Wellness Weekend.

7.         Binding Effect: - This Agreement shall be binding upon my next of kin, personal representative, heirs, beneficiaries and assigns and shall inure to the benefit of Readings By Simone.

8.         SEVERABILITY: - Each clause, paragraph and provision of this Agreement shall be deemed to be and shall be treated as severable, and any invalidity, illegality or unenforceability affecting any clause, paragraph or provision of this Agreement shall not affect or prejudice the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining clauses, paragraphs and provisions of this Agreement.

I have read this Agreement. I fully understand its TERMS and CONDITIONS understand that I am giving up my right to sue. I am signing freely and voluntarily without any inducement. I intend by my signature this to be an unconditional release of all liability to the GREATEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW.
